The Best Value Venues for an Italian wedding

Most of us have a finite budget to allocate on a wedding venue and then various other important elements of this special celebration. Often it can be tempting to be lured by a ‘cheaper‘ option, only to realise further down the planning road, that you need to ‘buy in’ all the various necessities you require to make this wedding suitable. Thus hiking up the price and making that ‘cheap’ option now more expensive! Remember - not all venues make good wedding venues!

At La Lista we recognise that weddings come in all different shapes and sizes and one size (or cost) most certainly does not suit all. That’s why we love our Venue Series, tapping into the different regions of Italy, the array of sizes and prices, giving a complete view of what is available to you. And don’t forget, if nothing takes your fancy here, we list over 150 other venues on our trusted directory.

Our ‘Best Value Venues’ highlight the top options in each region, with the value coming from that all are flexible on external suppliers - obviously key to controlling your own budget.

Amalfi and Sorento

The Amalfi coastline is famous for the glitz and glam lifestyle beside an azure sea. That said, the towns which make this region so popular are steeped in history and offer incredibly unique wedding locations, whether you choose to be right on the sea or not. A word of advice for this region - consider your transport logistics for guests as well as suppliers; the roads are narrow, windy and at times hair-raising!

5. Villa Eva

Where is it? Ravello

Why we love it

  • A grand art deco villa high up in Ravello

  • Stunning views and spacious grounds

  • A real Amalfi gem if you’re looking to host a wedding for less than 1000 euro per guest
