The Best Puglian Venues for an Italian wedding

Puglia is truly a gem of a place! Picture white-washed walls, the hypnotic sound of the Adriatic sea, baroque architecture, rugged coastlines and many towns ready for exploring. The vibe down here in the boot of Italy is more chilled and it’s definitely worth considering how this rather more relaxed mindset may affect your planning! But the food, the venues, and if a ceremony in a church is on your agenda, then you are seriously going to be wowed by the historic style.

Now let’s get into our favs…spoiler alert, after seeing this list you are going to need at least 2 weddings!

Destination Details: Puglia

“Puglia is perfect for people looking for a relaxed and soulful celebration. Considered simplicity is the most common request made by couples wanting to organise their ‘i-do’s’ in the region. The aim of most couples that chose Puglia is to escape the daily chaos of the city and create a bubble of peace and relaxation for their loved ones. For this reason they love to plan long weekends full of events and fun activities.” Wedding planner - Ale Linoci

Eating in Puglia

No visit to Puglia should be without a visit to some of our favourite places to eat!

Want a more formal dinning experience, then head straight to DISH, in Ostuni. This place has outstanding views of the white city, a real pre-wedding vibe and the food is unbelievably good. And they are listed on La Lista, so you can definitely feel the love!

If a quick bite (but rest assured a delicious one!) is what you are after, then get yourself to Pescaria for a quick bite. This place is fun, easy and definitely needs a couple of trips to enjoy both their panino al tonno and the other fishy delights!

For elegant beach club vibes, Pettolechia il Lido is a must when in Puglia. Start your married adventure with post-wedding debriefs here and enjoy the service, food and time resting on a sun-lounger! Dreamy!
