Warm, intimate and inspired by summer: wedding inspiration at La Pescaia Resort, Tuscany

Photography The Santoros | Venue La Pescaia Resort

A collaboration of La Lista members and supremely talented wedding suppliers came together to celebrate the Italian summer at one of our favourite venues La Pescaia Resort.

The shoot came about quite spontaneously when all of the suppliers became free due to postponed weddings. They wanted to get together and create some of the tablescapes that were unfortunately on hold due to Covid.

Created by an all-star cast of La Lista members:

“We wanted to bring to life some of the work that would have to wait for now, due to covid and celebrate the Italian summer that was passing by”

“We chose to create a little dinner set up under the impressive cedar tree – the heart of Pescaia, adding the flowers grown just a stone’s throw away. The other elements of the table are all vintage Italian pieces.”

We love the warm earthy tones that perfectly compliment the natural landscape, and are reminiscent of a soft and dreamy Tuscan sunset. With beautiful blooms grown by Dome Flowers, an organic flower farm on the grounds of La Pescaia Resort, the whole look is not only warm and stylish but seasonal and more sustainable. Add to this the stunning hanging chandelier and draped fairy lights by Central House and you have yourself a serious Tuscan summer vibe.

The dress is the Lirio gown by Spanish designer Cortana provided for the shoot by wonderful stockist The Fall Bride. Made of Italian silk and composed of three layers of fabric at different lengths, this gown is relaxed elegance at its finest. The gown has two long stoles attached to it that can be arranged in different ways for different parts of your day.

“While we had everything there, we quickly tried a controversial table without flowers! We included a lot of cut glass and candles, something we’ll definitely be re-creating in the near future, with a lot more glass and a lot more candles”

We love how this team got creative in the moment and played around with various designs. It shows how much fun you can have with your wedding design if you draw inspiration from where you are and what feels right, over recreating what’s been done before.
