Dream team Alessandro and Felicia are the masterminds behind LUIANO. They believe that joviality and the pleasure of good company always comes first and foremost…and this really shines through in their warm and engaging personalities.

The experience starts with a walk through the places of production and ends in the ancient 14th century cellars which are found underneath the foundations of the villa. Finally, you sit at the table to taste the wines choosing between the different gastronomic options (from simple bread and cheeses to a full meal).

Il Mercato Centrale is open every day from 10am - 12am and it full of delicious local foods and talented local artisans. From bread and baked products, fresh fish, fried food, vegetarian and vegan dishes, meat and charcuterie, buffalo mozzarella, cheese, chocolate and gelato, fresh pasta, wine, lampredotto and truffles: you’ll find it all!

You can buy food from the individual stalls and then find a seat at any table in the middle of the hall. If you would prefer to book a table you can do so by calling them and making a reservation at the restaurant or the pizzeria.

For epic sandwiches!

All’Antico Vinaio is a must-try when visiting Florence. The shop is in the heart of the city centre, just minutes away from Piazza della Signoria. Sandwiches are made with a local bread called schiacciata. The shop has an endless selection of cold cuts, cheese, and homemade creams.
