Sophia + Philip’s intimate wedding at Masseria Le Torri

Sophia & Philip’s intimate wedding at Masseria Le Torri is a masterclass in timeless style. By not following trends and keeping things classically beautiful and minimally styled, this wedding is one for the ages. As they say good taste never goes out of style.

The couple celebrated with 30 of their closest loved ones, and treated them to a traditional Apulian feast which they enjoyed in the beautiful garden under a cascade of twinkling lights. Music and a relaxed vibe was a priority for the couple who had the incredible David Blank for the ceremony and aperitivo and a soul singer for the party, accompanied by a saxophonist and a DJ.

“Between minimalism and sophistication, their day was the epitome of modern elegance – a heartfelt celebration that fused sentiment with chic styling details, from the white-washed stone of the masseria to the softness of the flowers. A very strong stylistic choice was made on the imagery of their wedding: they decided to have the amazing Danilo & Sharon reporting their celebration with their defined aesthetic approach, unconventional and arty at the same time.”

The ceremony

“The couple wanted to keep the ceremony decor minimalistic but with a standout feature as to not take away from the beautiful garden of the masseria, something classically beautiful and uncomplicated. In fact, we decided to set up the ceremonial space minimally styled with a simple backdrop arch covered in voluminous layers of billowing fabrics in pure white. Sophia and Phillip cared a lot about the vibe of this specific moment, and since the beginning they knew that they wanted live soul music while they exchanged their vows. We finally arranged for the astounding David Blank to perform for them throughout the ceremony and part of the aperitivo.” ~ Alessandra Linoci, Wedding Planner

The Aperitivo

“After the ceremony the party moved onto the reception area, where Rotondo Catering welcomed the newlyweds and their guests with a fantastic Apulian feast in the main courtyard, from where the guests could take a peek at the dinner area." ~ Alessandra Linoci, Wedding Planner

The table

“It was crucial for Sophia that the table was refined, elegant and modern, including luxe details. We played around with different textures, from extremely fine fabrics as the silk flowy runner and the soft linens, to the crystal glasses and the concrete props. All was completed using rich, full and precious flowers in pure white, warmed by little touches of powder pink and pearl grey for the linen napkins and the menus, for a very clean and modern feel.” ~ Alessandra Linoci, Wedding Planner

The Cake

“The wedding party dined under a cascade of twinkly lights, enjoining a typical Apulian meal. The reception ended with the cake cutting, under a majestic chandelier hanging by an olive tree that we simply decorated with more billowing soft fabric flowing in the wind and shimmering candles that perfected a simple set up making it super romantic.” ~ Alessandra Linoci, Wedding Planner
