Ramtin + Kimia’s sunkissed wedding at Tuscan venue Villa Medicea di Lilliano enchanted us from the start! It was all about celebrations, good times and good people. And the chilled vibes radiate out of every photo taken by Selia Photography.
The talented team at Parade Wedding worked their magic capturing the elegance and charm of a Tuscan wedding. And if warmth is a theme, then this wedding had it in abundance; with incredible sun-blushed florals by Flower’s Living and entrancing lighting over the table from Wedding Music & Lights. We’re particularly obsessed with Kimia’s green Manolo Blahnik’s.

How did you approach your wedding planning to make sure the day was what you wanted and felt personal to you?
Kimia fills us in: ”Parade girls knew me very well. We were planning details of my wedding in 2019 but then we stopped and for 2021 they did everything based on what they knew from my taste and everything was exactly what I would imagined. They only had 3 weeks to prepare everything and we didn't have much time to go through details. But they nailed it.”
Parade Wedding gives us their top piece of advice:
“Kimia and Ramtin's wedding was supposed to take place in September 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to postpone it. In 2021 there was still a lot of uncertainty, but by the time the guys had finally decided that they would get married in spite of everything and everyone, the date was three weeks away.
In 21 days we planned, organised, conceived and styled their wonderful wedding, and we were able to do all this because, in addition to our non-stop 24-hour work, we had built up a team of experienced, professional suppliers who we knew would be able to guarantee us the top level we were looking for.
So our advice to those who want to get married in Italy or are planning their wedding in the Bel Paese is only 1: only trust suppliers whose quality and experience are the main features and who know perfectly the location where you are going to get married, and don't just look for the cheapest supplier.”
What was the best money you spent?
Kimia says “The whole 3 days were magical. All I can say. The best money was to Parade planners, the photographer and videographer.”
Parade Wedding’s top tip for couples in the 8-10 week countdown for their wedding this summer
“Focus on the final number of guests, work on the seating chart and fill in the spreadsheet with all intolerances/allergies or specific dietary requirements, take stock of the missing points with your wedding planner, check the wedding planning timeline and the wedding report together. Take stock of the payments still to be made and....live the anticipation of living your Italian wedding dream with a nice glass of prosecco.”
Parade Wedding’s top tips on managing timing on the day:
Manage at the best the preparation timing; you will have so many cheers to lose the perception of time!
Don’t forget to schedule the ceremony timing (your vows!!)
Remember: moving from the ceremony to the reception is something to coordinate!
Don’t forget to check everything about the speeches (emotion can play timing tricks!!)
Dance, dance, dance, but keep an eye on extra hours service!
