The Dating
“We sort of met through Tinder. Zach and his family were visiting the town I was living in over a holiday weekend. We “matched” during his trip but I turned down his invitation to meet. Instead, we started texting and talking on the phone every night, and kept this up for a month before finally deciding to meet in person. We knew each other pretty well by then!”
The Engagement
“It was the day before our 6 year anniversary, and we were celebrating the occasion (or so I thought). Zach planned an elaborate surprise that started with a photoshoot through Manhattan and ended in a suite at a fancy hotel where he proposed on the balcony.”
Why did you choose Italy?
“We had decided that we wanted the wedding to feel like a vacation with all our closest family and friends, and Italy is one of the most beautiful and accessible places we could think of!”
“We found our venue on Airbnb. Borgo Petrognano was the biggest villa we could find, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was so special to have all our family and wedding party stay with us for the weekend.”
