A refined, elegant September day with a supplier team the couple rave about! It was always very obvious for Italian couple, Alessandra + Giovanni that their wedding would take place in their beloved Italy, but even for native speakers living in Milan planning was challenging at times.

The Dating
“We met one night in November at a club in the city center of Milan. We talked and danced and never separated from that night 8 years ago.”
The Engagement
“We had been thinking about getting married for a year or so and - at the beginning of 2022 - we started dreaming about a September wedding. We then started looking for venues. When we found our match we set the date and started sharing the news with our relatives and friends. We exchanged gifts privately in our home, one night in June after returning from a trip to the beach.”
Why did you choose Italy?
“We never had any doubt about getting married in Italy. We wanted a beautiful, spontaneous and uncomplicated wedding, for both us and our guests; we wished for exquisite food and drink and we love our country for offering all those things.”
The Venue
“As soon as we visited Convento dell'Annunciata we understood that it was a match made in heaven. We love nature and authenticity and Convento dell'Annunciata is a fifteenth century convent, in the middle of the countryside near Lake Garda, nestled in history and nature. We valued that Convento dell'Annunciata offered the possibility to select all suppliers creating a tailor-made event.”
Stand Out Moment
“We think that the romantic allure of the ceremony - that took place by the enchanting little lake inside the venue - set the mood for the entire wedding. That touching moment and the words of our loved ones in the speeches amplified the emotions and allowed us to feel the guests' participation from the very beginning of the event.”
Did anything go wrong?
“We wouldn't say that something went wrong but choosing every detail and organizing the logistics was challenging. Fortunately we had the privilege of working with the best team and to be guided by an amazing wedding planner. ”

“In planning, always consider the well-being of your guests in every moment of the event and in the logistics: they will give back every attention with lots of affection.”
Stand Out Supplier
“We are really unable to choose as we absolutely loved all our suppliers: food, beverage and service were exquisite. The band and the DJ were incredibly talented and great in creating the right mood in every moment. The floral designer was a magician in interpreting our styling concept and surprised us with the most beautiful compositions. The lighting designers were crucial to create the best atmosphere during the reception and the dancing party. We absolutely fell in love with our photographer, who was discrete and welcoming, allowing us to be spontaneous; he created a relaxed and moving reportage of that day. Videomakers also were absolute professionals and never had us feeling uncomfortable nor pretencious. The venue manager truly conveyed to us his love for the Convento dell'Annunciata; his kindness and warmth were always comforting. Last but not least, our incredible wedding planner, who opened for us the doors to the best team we could wish for and flawlessly managed every second of that day with outstanding efficiency.”
