Book in some introductory chats, as these are a great way to get some invaluable insight and advice that can help shape your wedding and your upcoming decisions when you plan an Italian wedding. We interview all planners on our Directory so you know you’re only choosing from the best.
Hot Tip: Ask what their fee structure is, do they work on commission? Do they have a set list of vendors and venues they work with or are they completely led by your vision. Check out their reviews and get in touch with their past couples!

Hiring a skilled wedding planner can save you invaluable time, energy, and money— it will undoubtedly uplevel your wedding and is truly an investment worth making.
Choose your Venue
You should have venues shortlisted now and ideally saved down in your Wedding Tracker to help you easily compare. If you’re able to make a trip you or your planner should book these visits.
Are there any other vendors you should meet on this trip…..catering, informal meets with potential HMUAs or any Italian photographers? Would you want to tag an engagement shoot on to this trip?

Hold Guest Accommodation
If your venue doesn’t have accommodation for all guests you might need to hold rooms or villas in other locations. The best way to manage this is via your wedding website. And organise the confirmations in your Wedding Tracker, along with room allocation for your guests staying at your venue.

Inform your Guests
A wedding website is key. You are going to be sending out lots of wedding comms in the next months, so having info under one roof will help you and your guests.
A save the date could be digital or printed, depending on urgency.
Before sending, work out who’s sleeping where at the venue and have the logistics of other guests accommodations on point.
