Jack Stocker
Jack is a documentary and editorial-style wedding photographer with a background in design. Jack’s experience working in fine art book publishing allows him to use his knowledge and skill to project through his work as a photographer. His keen eye for detail and artistic style as a designer is mirrored through his photography, as he aims to create artistic and well-considered frames. He envisions each frame he makes to how it would translate as a piece of art in his couple's home.
Jack’s approach on a wedding day is to capture the day as it unfolds naturally, allowing him to capture honest and genuine moments. His couples often compliment him on how relaxed and comfortable he makes them feel while documenting their wedding day.
Jack is inspired by a diverse range of photographers, from the documentary street work of Joel Meyerowitz, to the fashion photography of Juergen Teller, and the suburban nightscapes and portraiture of Todd Hido, which he hopes can all be reflected in his shooting style.
