Accommodation comprises of 24 apartments with a total of 27 bedrooms, 13 semi-private rooms, and 29.5 bathrooms, providing a total of 63 beds. The maximum capacity is 80 guests.

Additionally, there is another villa onsite connected to the chapel, La Capella that can accommodate 15 more people. Larger parties can rent this villa for an additional €2,500 for a 2-night package or €3,500 for a 3-night package.

7 guest apartments in The Borghetto: Accommodating up to 20 guests.

5 guest apartments in The Fattoria: Accommodating up to 25 guests.

Please note that this maximum number of guests assumes that all double beds will be shared and that any couch beds in the common areas of the suites and single beds in lofts are in use as well.

 Wet weather

If your event has 80 guests or fewer, it can be seamlessly transitioned to available indoor options.

The ceremony can be held in the beautiful 90 sqm onsite chapel, which features a wooden beamed high ceiling and stained-glass windows originally built in 1100 and remodelled in 1700.

The dinner can take place in the unique Templar Hall, a 60 sqm breathtaking room with high arched brick ceilings and stone walls dating back to 1100.

For guest lists exceeding 80 people, it is recommended to arrange a tent or marquee rental to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Your after party can take place in the infamous Rave Cave, a dungeon turned disco complete with lights and lazers.

Castello di Ristonichi is an all-inclusive venue and operates exclusively with full packages. Whilst outside vendors are allowed for certain services, they handle all catering in-house. It is important to them that their food is grown onsite or sourced locally, ensuring sustainability and minimizing environmental impact. They also take pride in reducing food waste by composting and feeding leftovers to their chickens.
Furthermore, they do not allow any single-use items at the venue.

Up to 80 guests can be accommodated onsite at Castello di Ristonchi, but if more is required there are many options nearby.

Walking Distance: There are a few Airbnbs on the mountain. It is possible for guests to walk but they should be prepared with flashlights.

Pelago: Located just 5 kilometers from the venue, Pelago offers a one hotel/spa with AC as well as many other charming Airbnbs.

Pontassieve: Approximately 10 kilometers away, Pontassieve provides additional hotel options and amenities.

Florence: About 25 kilometers from the venue, Florence offers a wide range of accommodations, from luxury hotels to budget-friendly hostels, providing a vibrant city experience for your guests.

 Accessibility

Castello di Ristonchi are committed to accommodating guests with special needs; however, the venue, which was built in 1100, does not offer fully accessible rooms and facilities at this time. There are no elevators, and there are many stairs throughout the property. There are some ground floor apartments without steps, and the main areas are accessible by only a few steps. However, please note that the bathrooms and door frames in some of the rooms are quite narrow and a wheelchair may not be able to pass. We recommend discussing specific accessibility needs with the venue in advance to see how they can best accommodate you.

While the venue is versatile and equipped to accommodate the ceremony of your choice, it is recommended to hire a wedding planner to assist with the details of a civil ceremony, as this service is not included in any packages.
