Borgo del Carato
A luxury resort, located in 90 hectares of private parkland, Borgo del Carato is like ancient Sicily. What was once old farmers’ and shepherds’ houses is now a modern and stripped-back accommodation with Sicilian style. It is an incredible venue for weddings with lots of different spaces for your day, plus luxe accommodation for up to 65 guests.
The village, originally a fortified farm, is mostly surrounded by big carob trees and ancient olive trees. There is a saltwater pool of nearly 200 square meters and also a private chapel that was recovered with careful restoration techniques to preserve the original lime plaster and limestone walls, typical Baroque stone flooring and stone altar.
