Sextantio Albergo Diffuso
SANTO STEFANO DI SESSANIO, ABRUZZO
Sextantio Albergo Diffuso can be found in the medieval fortified village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio in the Abruzzo region. Its rooms, wine bar, restaurant and reception lie scattered in separate buildings formerly used as barns, stables, pigsties, wine cellars and farmers' or shepherds' lodgings. Wood and stone cottages have been restyled as suites and the village dungeons serve as a beautiful and atmospheric space for weddings. Albergo Diffuso, literally meaning 'scattered hotel', is in the stunning Abruzzo mountains just two hours east of Rome. The hamlet that had once fallen into disrepair has now been completely revived, and the local traditions of soap-making and wool-spinning are both thriving once again.
Sextantio Albergo Diffuso can sleep up to 60 guests across its 30 rooms and suites. If you have more guests there are several nice apartments spread throughout the village that can be booked.
Civil, religious or blessing ceremonies can take place in the village, in one of their beautiful spaces and their restaurant Locanda Sotto gli Archi can host up to 100 guests for your wedding reception.
The restaurant is full of candles and has a real romantic and medieval atmosphere. If you’re looking for something totally unique and unforgettable then this venue is for you!
