Jackie + Chris’ vibrant Puglian wedding

2023 was pink’s year! And Jackie and Chris give us a masterclass in making a statement with this colour, whilst bringing the grown-up glam. Surrounded by 80 of their closest friends and family, this July wedding day at Puglian venue, Masseria Fontana di Vite was all about the relaxed, no stress vibes. The emotions of the day were split beautifully, from a moving ceremony conducted beautifully by Apulian Ceremony, to the chilled out sax playing poolside. And then as dusk settled, the dress got shorter and the party took off!
Cherished memories were so important for Jackie and Chris and based on the exquisite photos captured by The Santoros they will have many special years reminiscing about their Italian wedding day.

The Dating
“Our friends were dating so we just accompanied them without knowing we would fall in love. Suddenly our friends stopped dating and we became a couple.”
The Engagement
“One night before his birthday I had planned a surprise for Chris. At the same time he had a surprise for me .. so we were walking to the restaurant where I asked all of our friends to wait for us to be with Chris at midnight for his birthday. Whilst walking over the bridge there was music playing, our favourite song and candles were burning on the floor in the shape of a heart. I said ‘oh wow somebody is doing a proposal’; he then stopped and asked me on his knee! That was the most special day before our wedding.”
Biggest Worry
“Rainy weather actually! There was a little rain, but it was no problem - felt like 5 minutes.”
The Stand out Moment
“Coming hand in hand with my mother to my husband standing and waiting for me, seeing the beautiful location and all the family, realising now the time has come. Very emotional. The moment we said yes. And afterwards holding the family in the arms and seeing people crying, sharing all their love with us.”
Best money spent?
“The photographers are sooo important to reflect every moment in perfect photos. That money is worth every penny for the memories and sending photos to family who couldn’t be there.”
The Biggest Challenge
“Getting all guests from the airport to the venue required a lot of driving one day before the wedding weekend”

Favourite Styling Detail
“My hairstylist was incredible!! I had tears because of her hair art, absolutely amazing. Apart from this my favourite styling details were the flowers which had great colours and were perfectly positioned. Also the cards and candles on the table. Oh well I loved it all!”
Top Advice
“You need really good organisation of guest transportation! Some guests aren’t used to travelling or don’t know the country. Organise it well! It’s so important for stress free wedding days.”
