Evita + Artur: A true-romance wedding in Lake Garda
Evita and Artur’s wedding celebrated all things love and we are so there for those feelings right now! Classic romance vibes were echoed in the photography, the venue and Evita’s sensational gown. The couple were the epitome of Hollywood glam and soaked up every second of their day, with a stunning mountainous backdrop in Lake Garda. The neoclassical architecture of Hotel Villa Cortine only exaggerated the style Evita and Artur had fallen in love with. And how adorable is Evita and Artur’s daughter as a flower girl - this wedding gets better and better.

“The initial plan was to have a wedding in Latvia where I come from but I didn’t truly fall in love with any of the venues so I reached out to my wedding planner and ask what if we completely change the plan?”
How would you describe the style of the day?
“A stylish, modern romance in Italy” Ela Tatiana - photographer
Why Italy?
“The initial plan was to have a wedding in Latvia where I come from but I didn’t truly fall in love with any of the venues so I reached out to my wedding planner and ask what if we completely change the plan? She asked “What do you mean?” and I followed with a question “What about Italy, do you have any contacts there?”
A day later we already confirmed the date with a breathtaking villa in Italy. It was spontaneous and wasn’t really a dream of my own until it was all confirmed. But later Artur revealed that deep inside he was always wishing for this. We both love Italy, we officially became a couple in Venice years ago, we have had some amazing holidays over there. The most magical place on earth for a wedding, what else can we say.“

“Our 2 year old daughter bringing the rings to Artur was just the most perfect moment of our lives that we will cherish in our hearts forever.”
Stand out moment
“The ride on a vintage spitfire and the first dance were also a huge stand out moments, we truly felt like in a movie.” Evita - bride
“The biggest advice is to go for your dream visions, don’t compromise too much with the organisers, chase what needs to be chased, you will thank yourself later as all the efforts are so worth at the end.” Evita - bride
Stand out Suppliers
“We would feel bad to not mention someone as we were lucky with our team and they sure deserve to be mentioned all equally.
Talanted florists and decorators, incredible cellist and pianist, the best photographer and videographer, amazing Richard from Classic Rental Cars, my make-up artist Brigida, our pretty and delicious cake by wonderful Lisa from Lisa Bakery in Lake Como, my dream dress by Castellar Granados and Artur’s suit by Bath City Tailors. And our amazing hosts, they were truly the stars.” Evita - bride
The biggest worry
“Probably budget as we went quite above it but it was definitely worth it. Allow for extra!” Evita - bride
“Invest in the best photographer and videographer that you can afford.
Apart from your memories, that’s what will last forever - pictures and video.
Enjoy the process to the fullest!” Evita - bride
Best advice
“From debating seating arrangements to stumbling on hundreds cake flavours. Planning a wedding can get chaotic.
But guess what? None of that matters. Trust me.Why?
As long as you are happy, no one's gonna care. When it comes to your wedding day, don't worry about the little stuff. Who cares what Aunt Mary thinks, am I right?
It's your day, your way!
Up until now you have done all the work you can, you have professionals (like me) looking after you, and you are surrounded by family and friends who are the most important people in your world.
As long as you both are happy and getting soaked in the best day ever. The rest will look after itself. Enjoy the ride!” Ela Tatiana - photographer
