Bianca + Charles’ Tuscan castle wedding

A timeless affair at Tuscan venue, Castello di Bibbione in the heart of Chianti. For their destination wedding American couple Bianca and Charles wanted their friends and family to experience all that they love about Italy, after falling in love with the Dolce Vita whilst exploring on a number of trips. With their planner and epic supplier team, these childhood sweethearts planned a 3 day celebration finding balance between the chilled and the party atmosphere.

Why did you choose Italy?

“We’ve fallen in love with Italy, having travelled throughout the country. We adore the people, culture, nature, food, and way of life. We wanted to share that with our friends and family.”

The Venue

“We knew we wanted a venue that would allow the bulk of our guests to stay with us on the property. We wanted something rustic and comfortable, where you could feel the history and tradition by walking around and being surrounded by the rolling hills, cobble stone pathways, and lush greenery.”

Top piece of advice

“It can be hard to remember to enjoy the planning process, since it can easily become stressful, but going with the flow and keeping an open mind can help.”

Did anything go wrong?

“It was a bit tricky to nail down some vendors (like drivers for guests staying off the property needing transportation to and from the venue over the 3 days. Our amazing wedding planner, Barbara, handled everything for us though.”
