Why Our Founder Can't Get Enough of This New Sicilian Venue!

As an influential wedding planner, Lucy White has her finger on the pulse of hot new venues, and more importantly which ones have the service and framework to make the perfect wedding venue! On her radar this year is Braccialieri, a gem of a venue launching to the Italian wedding world in April 2025. Her recent visit cemented everything she initially hoped this venue could be, and is set to deliver so much more.

Last year I went over to Sicily to explore new venues and grow our knowledge and networks in the region near Catania / Noto in the south east of Sicily. I planned a packed agenda full of venue viewings and fell head over heels with the region. There was one venue that really stood out...

As I drove through the centre of Noto, my eyes were widely taking in all of the gorgeous architecture and the hustle and bustle on a busy morning. Noto is simply stunning and the perfect ‘entre’ to what was about to be an incredible discovery…Braccialieri.

As I pulled up to the electric gates which were still being fitted, they opened to a sparse olive grove car park. I wondered if I was in the right place! But soon I was merrily greeted by Toni, his brother and their friend all there to show me around their incredible new venue. We walked along a very unassuming path and then things started to unfold - gorgeous original pottery lining the path, a sea view. And then, that pool!

As we explored the venue it was clear to me how important this place was to the brothers who owned it. They have so carefully resorted such a historic location with the goal of preserving and celebrating Sicilian culture. Every touch of design and architecture was proudly explained to me as we moved around the venue. Everything created with intention and history. If you’re an Italy lover, you will adore the story and history behind each touch. From the pool tiles that replicate the architect’s nona’s kitchen, to the wallpaper at the bar, the perfectly resorted stone mill…everything is perfect.

Not only does Braccialieri have such an inviting pull to stay, but to host a wedding here would be sensational -and La Lista predicts one which you and your guests will find hard to put into words. If you’re looking for a Sicilian venue not only with character but style and meaning too, look no further than Braccialieri.
